Choose the book you will review. It can be fiction or non-fiction.
Read it and take notes.
Review the PowerPoint about how to write a review (see How to write a book review page).
Write your review.
Map out links that connect with your book.
Some links you might consider:
An author’s website
Links to setting (geographical) content (topic of book.)
Images relating to the content of the book.
Music or video relating to the content of the book.
Original drawings/paint program picture to insert into your Glog.
Make a voki into which you pasted your book review.
If you want to add data such as a powerpoint, word document, you can attach it. It will appear as a paperclip on the bottom of your Glog. Clicking the paperclip will open your work.
Jamestown students will be copying and pasting their book reviews into the DestinyQuest Database (our book catalog) as a resource for other students looking for peer recommendations. If you can do that for your fellow students, you should!
